Our Safeguarding Champions Event 2024 is set to take place during Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week. Guest Speakers will include ARCH presenting on Sexual Violence and Abuse, as well as Safer Communities presenting on Financial Abuse and Scams, Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board (TSAB) presenting on Learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews and Independent Voices Advocacy Service presenting on their service and the Safe Place Scheme.
Who should attend? Existing Safeguarding Champions are invited to attend this half day event. The invite has also been opened up to those in the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector who may be interested in becoming a TSAB Safeguarding Champion. Delivery: The event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Before applying for a place please ensure that you have the ability to access Teams from a desktop or mobile device.
