Working in caring or high-stress professions can take an emotional toll. This workshop explores the concept of vicarious trauma – how an exposure to others’ distress can affect our wellbeing and provides practical tools to recognise, prevent and manage its impact. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how vicarious trauma develops and learn strategies for building personal resilience because caring for others begins with caring for ourselves.
