AB suggested that TSAB could put themselves forward for a review towards the middle of next year.
There is a cost to conducting a review but the LGA would also contribute.

ES welcomed a peer review but highlighted that the review team would need to understand the
complexities of a Multi-Authority SAB. AMc highlighted that in her opinion Peer Reviews are more
productive than inspections as a greater learning experience is gained.

          TSAB Development Day
AB reminded members that the session takes place on 11 March and asked that members prioritise their
attendance. The focus will be to look back at what has been achieved, links to other partnerships (Director
of Children’s Services have also been invited) and to discuss the strategic direction and priorities for the
year ahead. Discussions took place regarding the common themes of SARs and DHR’s emerging across
Tees and the learning gained. ES stated that he would like more discussions on trauma informed practice
and the approach being undertaken. A practitioner may be trauma informed but it is the ‘how’ within
practice that is also important. Transition from Children to Adults was also highlighted as an area for
          discussion.

          Annual Report
Members were provided with a copy of the Annual Report, the report is also available online here.
